Former Inter Milan manager Leonardo says he's just beginning negotiations for an executive position with Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking at a news conference at the San Siro stadium Thursday, Leonardo says he didn't begin talking to PSG until his contract with Inter was terminated when Gian Piero Gasperini was hired as his replacement two weeks ago.

The Brazilian says, ''I won't deny that the possibility of going to PSG is real, but for now it's still just a possibility. I spoke with the owners two days ago and I don't know how it will end up.''

Leonardo surprised Inter when he told the club at the end of the season that he no longer wanted to manage, but he says he's leaving on good terms.
