Nigeria striker Ayegbeni Yakubu has completed a season-long loan move from Everton to second-tier English side Leicester City.
The 28-year-old Yakubu, who scored for Nigeria at last year's World Cup, has the option of signing for Leicester permanently at the end of the season.
The former Portsmouth and Middlesbrough striker is the big-name signing Leicester's wealthy Thai owners have wanted manager Sven-Goran Eriksson to make as the club looks to secure a return to the Premier League.
Eriksson says ''Yakubu is a tremendous signing ... He has captained his country, played in major competitons and is a first-class footballer.''

Yakubu has struggled for fitness and form this season, starting just eight games and scoring once.
