Leicester reject Morgan bid

Nottingham Forest have had a second bid for Leicester City defender Wes Morgan turned down, Sky Sports understands.

Forest boss Billy Davies has made Morgan one of his top targets as he looks to bring the 29-year-old back to the City Ground.

Morgan left Forest for Leicester in January 2012, but has quickly established himself as a key member of Nigel Pearson's side and is club captain at the King Power Stadium.

Forest saw their initial £1million bid snubbed for Morgan last month and they are believed to have come back with an improved offer of £1.5million.

However, Leicester have again rejected their overtures with Pearson determined to keep hold of the central defender as he plans for another promotion push this season.
