Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi will be out for at least a month after injuring his right thigh in Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Roma.

Lavezzi picked up the injury 10 minutes into the second half and medical tests have revealed the Argentine will miss four to five weeks, according to the Serie A club.

On his Twitter account Lavezzi writes, ''I have a muscle strain, the recovery time is four weeks.''

Lavezzi will miss Napoli's Serie A matches against Genoa, Palermo and Bologna as well as the Coppa Italia match against Cesena.
