Lambert hails Holt's bravery
Holt's injury-time equaliser from the spot in the 3-3 Premier League draw against Blackburn on Saturday has attracted praise from the Canaries manager. Only seven days earlier the club captain's powerful header earned a shock point at Liverpool, and this time the substitute was required to rescue a point with a pressure penalty in the last minute of injury time following Steven N'Zonzi's contentious handball. The Canaries striker has recently been out of favour at Carrow Road, starting only four of Norwich's games while appearing as a substitue in five of the last six since being replaced by Welshman Steve Morrison. Lambert said: "He has been brilliant for me, Grant. Really good - honestly, I don't expect anything less because Grant has been brilliant for me for the last two years. "He's captain of the club and we have a good relationship - there's been no problem. "The penalty is right in the side-netting. Any other place and that goalkeeper would save it. It takes huge players to go and step up and score a goal. "I don't mind who takes the penalty as long as it hits the net, but you've got to be brave enough to get up there and hit it. "I thought his goal at Liverpool was brilliant last week, and I think that one for different reasons was probably bigger. It was a huge goal for us."
