Lambert draws up shopping list
The Scot is adamant he will not be drawn into "panic buying" as he attempts to maintain the ninth-placed Canaries' promising start to the season. But Lambert has lined up "one or two" targets, and he told The Pink'Un: "We have to look to give the players a hand in that window. That is for sure. "It's not a great time to spend money because you can buy for the sake of buying or you can panic buy - which I won't do. If we can get ones in for the right amount of money we'll try. "I've got one or two in my mind, but it's a different thing going and getting them. I'll need to wait until nearer the time." Either way, the City boss will not risk upsetting the spirit within his squad. He said: "If you are talking about 'big-time charlies', you tend to find that 'big-time charlies' want big-time money - which we won't do."
