Spain's soccer players have called off a strike over unpaid wages
that could have halted games in the country's top four leagues.
The players' association said Tuesday enough progress has
been made in negotiations and all games can now proceed.
The strike could have disrupted 10 games in the top
division's 33rd round, including Real Madrid vs. Valencia and
Espanyol vs. Barcelona.
The pay disputes applied mainly to the lower tiers of Spanish
soccer.
