Koren closing in on future decision
The 29-year-old was released by West Brom back in May after making 124 appearances for the Baggies. And after appearing for his national side during the World Cup, Koren is keen to sort out his future before the start of the new season. Koren has been linked with Premier League clubs Wolves and Blackpool as well as Championship side Leicester and SPL giants Celtic. Serie A club Cesena and Spanish oufit Real Sociadad have also expressed a firm interest. Agent Zoran Krneta told skysports.com: "Robi want to be back in full time training and to link up with a new manager and team-mates. "We believe we have all our final offers in now and its down to Robi to make a decision on where he feels comfortable moving his family to and working with. "He's been working hard on his fitness but is aware that the season is imminent and want to get on with it." Krneta is hopeful that a deal for the experienced star will be sorted out by the end of the weekend and would like the player to possibly stay in England where he has spent the last three-years. "We hope to have things sorted in the next 48 hours if it all possible. I would like to see him stay in England as he has built himself a name here, but Serie A is an attractive option for any player".
