Klopp upset at Dortmund's second-half collapse against Bayern
Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp bemoaned his side's second-half collapse against Bayern Munich which saw them lose for the seventh time in the Bundesliga this season.
The Westphalians have already equalled the number of times they lost in the whole of last season with a fifth straight league defeat leaving them inside the bottom three and in a relegation battle rather than a challenge for the title.
It could have been the confidence-boosting victory they were looking for, though, had they not stopped playing football, according to Klopp.
"After a good first half and a less good second half, we caved in to the pressure," he told Sky television.
"We played too little football in the second half and it was not an undeserved defeat."
The club are currently in their worst run of form in years, and Klopp believes things can only get better.
"It's anything but good what's happening right now," he said. "We've got a lot to work on and lost many games due to our own faults.
"Of course it's rubbish, but self-confidence is something that you can win back and that's the cool thing about it."
Bayern have got plenty of that with the seventh win of their unbeaten season restoring a four-point advantage at the top of the table.
"In the end, it was our attitude which won it, not our tactics," said their coach Pep Guardiola. "I've got to pay my team a huge compliment because I know how hard it is to win against Klopp."
