Goalkeeper Rene Adler has pulled out of Germany's upcoming matches against Kazakhstan and Australia with a muscle injury.

The German football federation said Monday that coach Joachim Loew and goalkeeping coach Andreas Koepke decided against calling up a replacement for the 26-year-old Bayer Leverkusen player.

That means Germany will have Schalke's Manuel Neuer, the No. 1 at last year's World Cup, and Werder Bremen's Tim Wiese available in goal.

Germany faces Kazakhstan in a Euro 2012 qualifier in Kaiserslautern on Saturday. It hosts Australia in a friendly in Moenchengladbach next Tuesday.
