Kane blow for Canaries
Norwich have confirmed that Harry Kane will be sidelined for up to two months with a broken metatarsal.
The on-loan Tottenham striker limped off during the second half of the 1-0 Capital One Cup win over Doncaster in midweek.
The initial concern was that the England U21 international had damaged his ankle but subsequent scans have revealed he also broke a bone in his foot.
The 19-year-old will have surgery on Tuesday and is not expected to be seen again in a Norwich shirt until at least the end of November.
A club statement read: "Norwich City can confirm the foot injury suffered by on-loan Spurs striker Harry Kane in Wednesday night's Capital One Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers was a fractured fifth metatarsal.
"Kane will undergo surgery on Tuesday and the England Under-21 international is expected to be sidelined for around eight weeks.''
