Fulham boss Mark Hughes revealed last week that he was interested in taking the highly-rated Frenchman on loan for the remainder of the season. Kakuta has been unable to force his way into Carlo Ancelotti's first-team plans as a regular, making just four starts this season. Ancelotti is open to the idea of loaning out Kakuta as he looks for the player to gain some more valuable first-team experience. The move has stepped closer with Fulham now putting the skilful forward through a medical as they look to tie up a deal for the 19-year-old.
