Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern has showed its support for coach Marco Kurz after a lackluster season start by extending his contract.
Kaiserslautern said Tuesday it decided to extend Kurz's contract by one year to June 2013.
Club chief executive Stefan Kuntz said, ''We have one of the best coaches of the league and want to continue working in this position.''
Kurz said he was ''very happy to be able to accompany the club further. We're certainly not at the end of the road.''
