Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta has undergone knee surgery and is expected to be out for 40 days.
Juventus said Tuesday that the procedure went smoothly after the Italy international was bruised in training last week.
Two other Juventus players, goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and midfielder Claudio Marchisio, also have knee trouble. Marchisio was operated on earlier this month, while Buffon plans to have surgery at the end of the year.
