Former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron says he will delay his retirement with Argentina club Estudiantes for at least six more months.
The 36-year-old Veron, who announced months ago he was ready to retire, said Friday he was staying after pressure from his teammates.
His announcement means he will playing during the upcoming Clausura season, which opens early 2012 and ends in June.
