Venezuela coach Cesar Farias will be without striker Jose Rondon for the friendlies against Jamaica and Mexico later this month due to a leg injury.
Rondon pulled a muscle in his right leg and had to leave the pitch after scoring both goals for Malaga in Sunday's 2-0 win over Espanyol.
The 21-year-old striker said: "It is a shame because I was very excited about the chance of playing with my national team.''
Venezuela plays Jamaica on March 25 and Mexico on March 29.

Rondon is Malaga's top scorer this season with 12 goals.
