The Owls drew 0-0 with south Yorkshire rivals Doncaster on Saturday, although Jones felt his side perhaps should have won the game. He told the club's official website: "We were good in possession and created plenty of chances and on another day it would have been a comfortable win. "I thought we were a little bit tired, a little jaded and we could have been a little more sharp in front of goal, but we are making good progress. "Having said that, Doncaster had only one real chance in the game and Chris Kirkland made a super save to keep that one out." Jones added: "It was great to see our travelling fans back in their numbers, they really do make a difference and I can tell them that this season we will be giving it a really good go."
