Jol denies bullyboy claims
The Fulham boss is alleged to have had a furious training ground bust-up with the striker before the Europa League trip to Odense earlier this month. Jol, who was a tough player in his prime, has been anxious to dismiss reports the pair clashed before Zamora stormed out. "I tell the truth. I am not a bully boy. It is not my style. I just want to win," he told Daily Star Sunday. "I am not someone who shouts. "The only thing I can do is exclude players, drop them if they don't do what I want for the team. I don't fine them or shout at them. This can be a strength, this can be a weakness." "I did not have a row with Zamora. Never. I know where that story came from however," he said. Jol however has hinted that his relationship with Zamora is strained who was declared unfit for the European game and did not travel with the squad to Denmark. "It's not the first time, especially in an away game, he has dropped out the night before and even on the morning before the game." "Luckily enough he does not have the same problem in home games, but you can't manage that."
