Zamora, who has scored 11 times this season, suffered a broken collarbone in the Premier League defeat at Stoke earlier in the week, leaving boss Hodgson with Johnson, Erik Nevland and Diomansy Kamara as his available forwards. "That was a massive blow for the team," said Johnson. "He's been fantastic and in the form of his life. His confidence was flying so it's up to me, Erik and Diomansy Kamara to carry on what Bobby's been doing. "He's been fantastic and he's going to be missed. The boys have got to step in now." Hodgson has been linked with a move for out-of-favour Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, who wants a move away from White Hart Lane but would prefer to return to Russia. It is understood there is also interest in Crystal Palace youngster Victor Moses. Okaka's agent believes Roma's Italy Under-21 striker could be on his way to Fulham by the end of the week. Roma are willing to loan out the 20-year-old following the arrival of Italy striker Luca Toni from Bayern Munich. "Sporting director (Daniele) Prade has not long returned," Domenico Scopelliti told Romagiallorossa.com. "I think that Roma and Fulham will talk in the next two days. It's important that the two clubs talk to each other. "I think that Stefano is the right age for such a move. "To play in the Premier League is not just a stroll, it's not something everyone can do. "Fulham were interested last year as well and that could only make us happy. "He has the right characteristics to do well in the Premier League. "Hodgson has said some really good things about Stefano. It's gratifying that a coach of his calibre expressed himself in this way."
