FIFA says health care firm Johnson & Johnson has bought the final global sponsorship slot for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Johnson & Johnson has signed up as the eighth second-tier worldwide sponsor after several of FIFA's commercial partners criticized the governing body for recent corruption scandals.
FIFA did not disclose the value of the deal.
FIFA has six top-tier partners for the 2014 World Cup. It has budgeted for $1.6 billion from commercial contracts tied to the tournament. Broadcast rights deals will earn at least an additional $2.2 billion.
