Janssen winning race to be fit
PSV currently lead the way, a point clear of the defending champions, ahead of the 28th-round clash at De Grolsch Veste on Saturday. Janssen suffered a knee injury during the 2-0 win at Excelsior on March 20 - a match in which he scored twice - but is adamant he will will have recovered in time to take his place in Michel Preud'homme's side. "I'll make it. That to me was never in doubt," Janssen told De Telegraaf newspaper. "This week I will start to slowly build up my programme as, at this moment, I cannot tackle. There is still a little fluid in the knee. " The injury cost Janssen a place in the Holland squad for the Euro 2012 qualifying double-header against Hungary and he is frustrated at having his season disrupted. He added: "I would have much rather stayed with the rhythm of two games a week and played for Holland. "Now I must start all over again."
