Janko turns focus to Eredivisie
Janko came off the bench to net the extra-time winner which kept his club on course for a league and cup double. Demy de Zeeuw and Lorenzo Ebecilio had scored to put Ajax in control but Wout Brama's goal before the break brought Twente back into it. Theo Janssen made it 2-2 just before the hour and then the game went into extra time, with Janko's header clinching the cup for Twente. But, rather than celebrate the 3-2 win, Janko has set his sights on Sunday's final Eredivisie game of the season against the same opponents. Defending champions Twente hold a one-point lead over Ajax going into the game at the Amsterdam ArenA. The Austrian striker told the Eredivisie's website: "That's great, but this is not the time for celebration. "We will now concentrate on the next meeting with Ajax, to decide the title. "If we also win in one week I'm celebrating. Not now." Janko was not worried about being used as a substitute as injury had hampered his attempts to settle at Twente after his move from Salzburg. He added: "I have no problem with the role of substitute. I can live with that. "It is sometimes difficult to keep the rhythm, but I will do my best. "Initially I had some problems (following the move). After the winter break it went better. Then I was injured." Ajax coach Frank de Boer quickly turned his attention to the Eredivisie title decider after Sunday night's defeat. He said: "We will now prepare for the real final. That is the most important. But I would have preferred them both (cup and league titles). "At 20 minutes into the second half, we were dominating. It is unfortunate that some players could not keep up the pace. I think we perhaps deserved more from the game."
