Anzhi, for whom former Real Madrid and Brazil full-back Roberto Carlos now plies his trade, expressed an interest in the giant Austrian but Janko is not keen on a move to Dagestan. "I am not interested. It is dangerous there and you would have to live with bodyguards on the street," he told Voetbal International. "Quality of life is also very important to me." Janko is determined to make an impact at Twente next season after a mixed first year following his move from Salzburg. He added: "I'm not finished with FC Twente and would like to show more." Janko, who has a contract with the 2010 Eredivisie champions until 2014, will be reunited with former Salzburg boss Co Adriaanse next season.
