Three officials from the Jamaican Football Federation are coming to England to look for new recruits.
Aiming to boost their World Cup qualification hopes, the officials will spend 12 days in England looking to watch five matches and speak to nine players with Jamaican roots, including Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling.
The 17-year-old Sterling has been called up by England, but has not played for the team.
JFF President Horace Burrell says ''based on the FIFA rules he is still eligible to play for Jamaica. We think that it's worthwhile to speak with the agents and so on.''
Other players include Reading teammates Jobi McAnuff, Shaun Cummings and Gareth McCleary. Queens Park Rangers winger David Hoillett is also a possibility after rejecting the opportunity to play for Canada in 2011.
