Jaguares moved level with Santos Laguna at the summit of the Mexican Torneo Apertura after a 3-1 win over San Luis.

With Santos going down to a surprise 5-2 loss at Tecos, Jaguares took full advantage, joining their rivals on 23 points at the summit after seeing off San Luis with goals from Jackson Martinez (31 and 43) and Miguel Martinez (66). Alfredo Moreno replied for San Luis on 77 minutes.

Santos made a dreadful start to their match against Tecos and were 2-0 down inside 15 minutes thanks to a Herculez Gomez brace.

The dismissal of Rodolfo Salinas on 33 minutes appeared to be the end of Santos' hopes, but they stunned their hosts by rallying for two goals after the break through Carlos Quintero (47) and Jorge Estrada (70).

Tecos regrouped, however, and made sure of the three points thanks to late goals from Braulio Luna (83), Eduardo Lillingston (85) and Rubens Sambueza (87).

Carlos Bueno's 86th-minute penalty lifted Queretaro to a 1-0 win over Cruz Azul, for whom Javier Orozco was dismissed on 66 minutes.

Atlante and Tijuana drew 1-1. Jose Sand put Tijuana in front on 39 minutes but Oscar Rojas (60) levelled for Atlante, who had Juan Cuevas sent off in the last minute.

Atlas and Morelia also played out a 1-1 stalemate. Jahir Barraza opened the scoring for the hosts on 49 minutes but Rafael Marquez Lugo levelled after 82 for Morelia.

Tigres and Monterrey shared a goalless draw, while there was also a 0-0 stalemate between Unam Pumas and Pachuca, who had Dionicio Escalante sent off after 34 minutes.
