Islanders beat FAS 4-1 in CONCACAF Champions

Dominican striker Jonathan Fana Frias scored either side of halftime as the Puerto Rico Islanders beat FAS of El Salvador 4-1 in their second group match of the CONCACAF Champions League on Wednesday .

English forward David Foley opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Fana Frias found the net in the 22nd minute and the first minute of extra time. Jamaican forward Nicholas Addlery scored the Islanders' other goal in the 84th minute.

Honduran striker Williams Reyes scored the lone goal for FAS in the 24th minute.

The Islanders are in Group D with Olimpia of Honduras and Mexico's Toluca, which is considered the favorite. The Islanders' next match is against Toluca on Sept. 15 in Mexico.
