Iran closed in on a spot in final round of Asian qualifying for the 2014 World Cup on Tuesday by beating Indonesia 4-1.
Iran can secure a spot in the next round from Group E if Qatar earns at least a draw in Bahrain later Tuesday.
Milad Meydavoudi gave Iran the lead in the seventh minute, and Mojtaba Jabbari and Gholamreza Rezaei added two more in a four-minute span midway through the first half.
Indonesia captain Bambang Pamungkas pulled one back just before the break, but Iran captain Javad Nekounam converted a penalty in the 73rd.
