The 31-year-old midfielder is enjoying something of a renaissance at the Championship club, having found his chances at Ewood Park limited. He is the club's joint top-scorer with Michael Chopra this season with five goals, which have helped the Tractor Boys climb to just four points outside the play-offs. Andrews himself has expressed a desire to remain at the Suffolk-based club and they too are keen to retain his services. The player was quoted recently as saying: "I know I've got 18 months left on my contract there [at Blackburn] but I really don't want to be there. "I've come here and had a new lease of life here. I'm sure something will get done in January."
