Copa Libertadores champion Internacional says it has reached a deal to acquire former West Ham striker Ilan.
The Brazilian club said on Tuesday that Ilan will arrive on Wednesday to sign a contract until the end of 2011. He will be the team's first addition for the Club World Cup at the end of the year in Dubai.
Internacional earned a spot in the competition by defeating Mexico's Guadalajara 3-2 in the Copa Libertadores final last Wednesday.
Internacional will be trying to win the Club World Cup for the second time, adding to the 2006 title.

The 29-year-old Ilan was released by West Ham this year. He previously played for Sochaux and Saint Etienne in France.
He earned his first cap for Brazil in 2003.
