Inter showing Maicon no respect - Agent
Maicon's agent has slammed Inter Milan for the club's handling of his client, and claims the defender is being shown no respect.
Maicon's future at the San Siro has been subject to speculation since the departure of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid and the player is believed to be keen on linking up with his former boss.
Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is now at the helm of Inter, however Maicon's future is reportedly no closer to being resolved as the Brazilian returns from international duty following his team's World Cup exit.
The full-back is said to be unclear whether he is wanted by the Italian giants, who recently gave an indication that they maybe willing to do business.
However, the 28-year-old's representative has accused his employers of being unorganised and disrespectful in their handling of the situation.
Antonio Caliendo told Italia 7 Gold television: "I wonder if Inter even have directors. They aren't showing him any respect.
"We know there are many issues to resolve, like a new coach, different plans and players on co-ownership deals.
"However, it's amazing they don't even have five minutes for an important player like Maicon.
"These are all things that make you think. No importance is given to the player at all, I cannot read their thoughts or intentions.
"I see in the newspapers that president Massimo Moratti says Maicon won't be released for less than €35m. That means he is on the market.
"I'd like the player to be given the opportunity to express himself. Inter aren't showing him any respect."
