Inter Milan striker Diego Milito has had successful surgery on his injured left knee.
The Serie A club says Milito ''underwent a successful knee operation'' on Saturday ''after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament.''
Milito was stretchered off after badly twisting his knee in the seventh minute of Inter's 2-0 win over Cluj in the Europa League on Thursday.
The 33-year-old is expected to be sidelined for around six months.
