Serie A champion Inter Milan has signed striker Goran Pandev from
Lazio.
The Macedonia striker was signed to provide cover for Samuel
Eto'o, who will be away with Cameroon competing in the African Cup
of Nations.
Jose Mourinho's club said in a statement Monday that Pandev
was signed until 2014.
The statement said Pandev, 26, will be officially presented
on Wednesday, after Inter plays at Chievo Verona in the first
league match after the winter break.
Inter leads the standings with 39 points.
