Malaga striker Jose Rondon will miss the last two rounds of the Spanish league after injuring his leg in the match against Sporting Gijon.
The club announced Thursday that the Venezuelan international will be unable to play for a month after tearing a muscle in his left leg during the win on Tuesday.
Rondon is the leading scorer for Malaga with 14 goals and he played a major part recently in helping the team to safety.
The 21-year-old Rondon is scheduled to play for his country in the Copa America, beginning July 1 in Argentina.
