Indonesia hung on for a 4-3 win over Turkmenistan on Thursday to move into the next stage of Asia's World Cup qualifiers with a 5-4 overall scoreline.
With the first leg ending 1-1, Indonesia delivered on its home advantage to lead 4-1 before two late Turkmenistan goals made for a nervous finish.
Striker Cristian Gonzales scored twice in the first half and a Nasuha goal made it 3-0 to Indonesia at halftime.
Turkmenistan got on the scoreboard thanks to an own goal before Muhammad Ridwan restored Indonesia's three-goal buffer in the 76th minute.

Turkmenistan then went down to 10 men but still scored late goals through Berdy Shamuradov and Gakhrymanberdi Chonkaev. However they could not find the further goal needed to win on the away goals rule.
