Iaquinta agent quells Blues link
Vincenzo Iaquinta's agent has confirmed Chelsea's interest in the
Italy striker but insists his client is happy to stay with
Juventus.
The Blues have managed well without strikers Didier Drogba
and Salomon Kalou over the past few weeks - scoring 12 goals in
their last two games despite limited options up front.
Still keen to bolster his attacking line, though, boss Carlo
Ancelotti is reported to have expressed an interest in the Italy
international who played and scored against the west London club in
the Champions League not long ago.
The player's agent, though, insists he is staying at Juventus
and has quashed such exit talk.
"It is a normal thing that Chelsea may have enquired about an
important player like Iaquinta, who is estimated by Carlo
Ancelotti," Andrea D'Amico told Sportitalia.
"But this does not mean that he will go. "For Juventus, he
is absolutely unsellable," he said.
