Hull reshape for top tier
Paul McShane, Liam Rosenior and Mark Oxley have signed new deals at recently promoted Hull City as the side begin to reshape their squad.
Along with new deals for the trio, centre-back Abdoulaye Faye has automatically triggered a new 12-month deal after reaching a pre-agreed number of appearances for The Tigers.
Ahead of their Premier League campaign they have also released 12 players, including long-serving defender Andy Dawson and former Arsenal trainee Jay Simpson.
Also leaving the KC Stadium are Paul McKenna, Seyi Olofinjana, Sonny Bradley, Lewis Clarkson, Mark Cullen, Jamie Devitt, Kealan Dillon, Daniel East, Daniel Emerton and Francis McCaffrey.
Six acadamey players - Daniel Chambers, Benjamin Clappison, Joseph Cracknell, Matthew Dixon, Paul McElroy and Sam Topliss - have been handed professional contracts, but Thomas Davie, Bradley Ricketts and Joel Sutton will move on.
