Hull manager criticizes Nasri for alleged stamp

Hull manager Phil Brown has criticized Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri for stamping on one of his players before a free kick, saying he should have been sent off in a 3-0 loss to the Gunners on Saturday.

The incident just before the interval led to a huge scuffle. Nasri appeared to stamp on Richard Garcia's ankle as Arsenal prepared to take a free kick.

Nick Barmby appeared to push Nasri in the face after the incident. Nasri and Hull midfielder Stephen Hunt were booked for their involvement. Garcia was not seriously injured.

A melee erupted again between Arsenal and Hull players when the whistle was blown for half time, and it appeared that the fracas continued as the players went into the tunnel.
