The USA international left Houston at the end of the 2009 MLS season, before completing a move to Bolton in January 2010. The 25-year-old midfielder has been a resounding success in England, suggesting he will be a prominent Premier League figure for many years to come. He is, however, already planning a return to the States. As he continues with his rehabilitation from a knee injury sustained last season, Holden admits he would relish the opportunity to turn out for Houston again before he hangs up his boots. He said: "At some point down the line, I'd love to go back and play in Houston. "I watch every match online at two in the morning and get updates from the website. "I love Houston. I love seeing football progress here and I feel like I was part of the group that came to Houston and made an impact."
