Holden happy to get off the mark
Holden suffered a setback shortly after joining Wanderers in January when he picked up an injury while on international duty with the United States which caused him to miss most of the rest of the 2009-10 campaign. But the 25-year-old has bounced back to play in every league match so far for the Trotters this season and finally broke his duck at Molineux. Holden put Bolton 3-0 up by finishing a neat move involving Kevin Davies and Lee Chung-yong and having expressed his relief at getting on the scoresheet, the former Houston Dynamo player is now looking to add to his tally. "Let's hope it's the first of many goals," Holden told www.bwfc.co.uk. "It was a well-worked goal with the passing sequence that led up to it. Chungy made a great run, Davo found him and all I had to do was finish it off. "It's a bit of a weight off my shoulders. I was putting a little bit of pressure on myself to get off the mark because I do want to chip in with my fair share of goals. It's an aim of mine to pick up five or six a season because it is important to share the goals around. Once you break your duck then the confidence starts flowing but as long as the team wins then I'm happy."
