Hoffenheim says it has hired coach Holger Stanislawski on a three-year contract.

Stanislawski announced last week that he would be leaving Bundesliga rival St. Pauli at the end of the season, while Hoffenheim also said its coach Marco Pezzaiuoli would be leaving.

Pezzaiuoli was previously an assistant to longtime coach Ralf Rangnick, who quit in January. Rangnick recently took over at Schalke.
