The 21-year-old was only on the pitch for seven minutes against Swansea on Saturday but he still managed to create a goal for Kevin Doyle as well as helping Jamie O'Hara to equalise in the 2-2 draw. Vokes has also found the net in both previous rounds of the League Cup against Northampton and Millwall. He has made it clear that he wants to be in the starting line-up again ahead of the difficult fourth-round clash against the Premier League leaders at Molineux. "I don't know what the gaffer is going to do but it would be nice to get a start," Vokes told the club's official website. "He changed things around for Northampton and Millwall and he won 4-0 and 5-0 so the team that played those games proved they can do it. "I managed to get a goal in each - I'm still claiming the Millwall one - so if I feature again on Wednesday I'll be going for another one." The young striker knows how difficult the game will be but he is relishing the opportunity to play against the Citizens. He added: "Obviously Manchester City are a different proposition! We've got them twice in a week and we saw against Man United at Old Trafford on Sunday what they are capable of. It's going to be tough whatever team they put out even if it all changes on Wednesday. "They've got a fantastic squad and whoever is picked will provide a massive test for us. Even their second string squad - if you could call them that - will include players who have cost millions of pounds. "But if we can go out and show what we've done in the last couple of rounds then we've got a chance. We just have to try and treat it like any other game and see if we can get a result. "They are the sort of games you really want to play in. Hopefully they'll be a good atmosphere at Molineux and we can get through to the next round."
