The Edinburgh club have called a press conference for 5.15pm, when the new appointment will be introduced to the media. Hibs launched the search for their new boss after parting company with Hughes earlier this month. Reports claim Newcastle assistant manager Colin Calderwood has been interviewed for the vacancy. The former Scotland defender was manager of Northampton and Nottingham Forest before joining Newcastle in January 2009. A host of other names, including Steve Clarke, Billy Stark, Pat Fenlon and Michael O'Neill have also been linked with the job.
