Aston Villa midfielder Chris Herd has suffered a setback in his bid to recover from a foot injury.
Herd had returned to training with the hope of being fit for the final part of Villa's battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
But 23-year-old Herd is now facing another battle to regain fitness.
He told the Wolverhampton Express and Star: "I was really hoping to be involved against Manchester City the other week but the foot just got sore again.

"It's a blow which I will just have to deal with. These things happen in football and you have to just get on with it, stay positive and work on getting back to fitness."
Herd last played in the 2-2 draw at Swansea on January 1.
