France international Remy has been a long-term target for Redknapp and reports have suggested he could be the subject of a transfer window bid by Spurs.
Redknapp travelled to France to watch Remy score both goals in Marseille's 2-0 victory over Lille last Sunday but Spurs manager does not think the player will be moving to White Hart Lane due to Marseille's reluctance to sell their prized asset.
He said: "People have said he might be available but I don't think they will sell him.
"It was a good performance (last weekend). It probably put another £5-6million on his asking price."
