Negotiations over a potential two-month loan deal for the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder were continuing this weekend, with the 35-year-old keen on a move to the north London club. And Redknapp has not ruled out the idea of signing the former England captain on a full-time basis when he becomes a free agent in November. Quoted in the Sunday Mirror, the Spurs boss said: "Yes it's a possibility, of course. "It could do, for sure. It just depends on how it all goes. "If he comes and does well then he will, I am certain, have lots of offers. "They will want him in Qatar I would think. They will want him all over the world. "But we would want him as well. I think he will be a good influence. "David will be good around the place, good in the dressing room and good with the other players. "He has great know-how and he knows how to win games. He has been in teams that have won everything like Manchester United. "He will be good for us on the pitch with his knowledge." Beckham could be in the stands at White Hart Lane as Spurs take on Charlton in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
