Hammill looks to stop the rot
The winger came off the bench during Saturday's defeat to Newcastle, their fourth in succession. But Hammill believes Wolves are ready to bounce back to form starting with their next Premier League clash which is the Black Country derby against Albion on October 16. "We need to keep pushing and stop the rot," he said Hammill. "You could feel the tension on Saturday but we need the fans' backing. "They were excellent last year and one of the main reasons we stayed up was their support. "The only real bad performance we've put in was QPR. "And I am sure we will get back to winning ways and get up the table. "The positive is that there's no better game to come back to than West Brom to try and get back on track. "It is frustrating to get on this run but we've got to keep driving on. "If you look at the quality in the squad and the depth we've got we've got players who can do damage from the start and players who can come on and make an impact as well. "I think we've got what we need to push up the league. "You always look for the positives when the result doesn't go your way but we're not looking for excuses. "We'll get our heads down and keep working at it on the training ground to put things right."
