The Molineux club lost their first game of the season against Tottenham on Saturday after making an unbeaten start to the campaign. Mick McCarthy's side are seventh in the Premier League after four games as they look to improve on last year's relegation battle. Hammill was a January signing from Barnsley and has since made 12 appearances for the club, including two this season. Wolves welcome QPR in the league this Saturday and Hammill admits he is not looking beyond that game. He told skysports.com: "The aim is just to take each game as it comes and not get too carried away with the start we've had. "We are looking to play a little differently this year, trying to get our wingers on the ball more and play two up top, which suits the attacking players at the club because we like to play good football. "We've got a solid base at the back now too, with Roger Johnson coming in and doing excellent for us so far. "I think that this could be an exciting season for us, but we are just looking to get as many points on the board as we can and see what happens from there.
