Grayson: Vaughan isn't crocked
Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson has assured fans that on-loan striker James Vaughan's injury woes have not returned to haunt him.
Norwich forward Vaughan, 24, made only five appearances for the Canaries last season following his ?2.5million move from Everton due to a long-term knee injury, which required surgery.
The former Everton trainee, who has scored twice in six appearances for the Terriers since arriving on loan in the summer, returned from a two-game absence to start in Saturday's win at Birmingham, but was withdrawn in the 67th minute.
Grayson said: "This isn't any recurrence of a knee injury or anything like that, it's a groin strain he's picked up and played through probably for the two previous games.
"Vaughany has not missed a day's training while he's been here. Players pick up niggles regardless of any injury record that they may have, so we want to get him back fit, we want him for the rest of the season because he is an asset to us."
