The abandoned Spanish league match between Granada and Mallorca will be completed behind closed doors at a date to be decided.

The Spanish football federation fined Granada €6,000 ($8,000) on Wednesday after an umbrella struck a linesman in the face, forcing the match to be abandoned in the 61st minute.

Granada has also been warned that it will be forced to play at Los Carmenes Stadium behind closed doors the next time such a disruption occurs.

Granada was leading the 12th-round game 2-1 before the bizarre incident, caused when a teenage fan's umbrella hit the linesman in the cheek.
