Gotze keen to extend Dortmund stay
Germany midfielder Mario Gotze can see himself extending his contract at Borussia Dortmund beyond 2014.
The 19-year-old playmaker, one of the brightest young talents in world football, has already won 12 caps and attracted the interest of clubs across Europe.
Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with the midfielder.
But Gotze claims he is happy to stay put beyond the end of his current contract, which has two years to run.
"Of course I can imagine extending my contact at Dortmund," he said in an interview with Bild newspaper.
"I have always said how at home I feel here. And nothing has happened to change that.
"I have my family and friends here. And the whole Borussia Dortmund package with the coach and the team is simply outstanding."
Dortmund have already strengthened their squad for next season with the signing of another young Germany international, Marco Reus, who will join from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer.
